CBD oil – How to consume CBD
There are 3 types ofCBD oils :
- full spectrum: an extraction method that provides the full spectrum of cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, THC, etc.) and phytochemicals such as chlorophyll and other organic plant matter. The oil will have a strong hemp flavor and be dark in color. This oil will contain THC but its rate will be less than 0,2%, in accordance with European legislation.
- broad spectrum: this is the same extraction method as full spectrum oil except that after extraction the THC is removed from the oil. A broad-spectrum oil will therefore have a full cannabinoid profile which will include CBD, CBG, CBN and CBDV, as well as other potential cannabinoids but all without a trace of THC.
- isolates: it is a CO2 extraction method that leaves a 99% pure CBD product. It is however possible to find other isolated cannabinoids, such as CBG and CBN.
Put a few drops ofCBD oil under the tongue is the easiest and most effective way to consume CBD. As explained above, by sublingual route, CBD is absorbed more quickly by the mucous membranes and will thus act faster. You can also add a few drops of CBD oil to your favorite cooking recipes.
CBD capsules
A product intended for those who wish to benefit from the effects of cannabidiol without the taste of hemp.
Unlike oil, CBD capsules are convenient for multiple reasons:
- They are easy to ingest.
- The dosage is more practical in this form, each capsule contains a specific level of CBD, which allows you to better control your consumption.
- Taste level, you will not feel the strong taste of hemp.
CBD flowers come from female hemp plants. Once mature, they are rich in terpenes.
There are several ways to consume them:
- In vaporization: not to be confused with vaping. To consume the flowers in this way you will need a vaporizer to heat your flower gently and obtain the flavors without combustion.
- In the kitchen : and yes, you can cook your CBD flowers but not just anyhow.
- In infusion: just pass your flower through a grinder then let it infuse, preferably in a fatty substance (butter, milk, oil, etc.)
